Absinthe Carafes II - Topettes
|
Topettes, often marked with the individual doses, were used to measure out
smaller quantities of absinthe, suitable for a single customer or table.
A scarce dark green topette
especially made for Premier Fils,
with sand-blasted advertising for
their Absinthe Oxygenee, a rival to
Cusenier's better known version.
A twelve ring dose-marked topette, in an
unusual green glass. This type of topette was
made in versions of 2 to 12 doses, as indicated
in the Verreries Meisenthal catalogue.
A unusual small individual
carafe with etched advertising
for Absinthe Segaut Fils.
